Purpose & Goals
TESSA's goal is to serve as a licensed Indian Foster Family Agency for AI/AN families with culturally relevant foster placement and support systems to assist families in the reunification process.
Treatment Philosophy
To provide holistic treatment services to AI/AN children and their families through positive foster placement options in homes that are culturally appropriate and able to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of the Indian Child. TESSA believes that every child should have the opportunity to be raised by their parents and we will strive for family reunification when it is in the best interest of the child.

Is a member of an American Indian/Alaska Native tribe
Eligible for tribal membership
Descendents of tribal members
Families that are known to, and accepted within, the indian community
Service Area
TESSA's current foster care service area is a two hour radius from the Sacramento office. We hope to expand our service area in the future with additional program services.
